The Shenandoah tubing trip is a “kick back and enjoy” tubing trip near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. You park your car where the trip ends, and you will be shuttled 1 ½ miles upriver where you will splash and play through some small rapids before beginning your leisurely float down the river. Dropping over shallow ledges along the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you are sure to enjoy this mellow and beautiful stretch of river.
Tent Camping – You have options, choose to stay 1 night or 2 nights at Brunswick Family Campground. Campground facilities include: Bath house with hot showers, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, use of playground and campground store with ice, firewood, drinks, snacks, ice cream.

Tubing Location: 90 Millville Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425
Camping Location: Brunswick Family Campground, 40 Canal Road Brunswick, MD 21716
When you arrive, you can add on Tube Straps (a strap that connects tubes together) for $2.50 per strap.
A cooler float that comes with a tube strap to keep the float attached to the tube for $13 per cooler float. You will be parked right along the river where you finish your tubing trip for convenience and easy access to your car!
Transportation is not included. Registration is required.

Trip Costs:
$20 per person for the River Tube
$10 per person for the Tent Camping
*Included with Camping: Campsite, 1 tent (2-8 person tents are available), 1 camp chair, 1 sleeping bag, and a camping cookware set. *Some quantities are limited. First come, first serve!*

Tentative Itinerary:
Friday, 23 August:
2:00pm – Check-in at campground (or any time after). Set up your campsite and relax. Food will not be provided.
Saturday, 24 August:
10:30am – Arrive at 90 Millville Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 for River Tubing
11:00am-1:00pm – River Tube
1:00pm – Return to Campsite and Relax
Sunday, 25 August:
11:00am – Check-out time for Campsite
Registration Information:
ODR MUST secure a minimum number of participants two weeks before the trip date. Please register as soon as possible to ensure availability and minimum requirements are met.
Eligibility:
Active Duty (including Guard and Reserve), Retirees, DoD Civilians and all their Dependents. Each eligible ID Card holder can sponsor a non-ID card holder, so grab your friends and neighbors, and reserve your seats soon!
