Go Ape! Treetop Adventure

Looking for 50-foot-high tree-to-tree crossings, super long ziplines and heart-stopping Tarzan swings? Search no more! A 2–3-hour adventure like no other awaits you. Minimum Age: None, Minimum Height: 4 ft 7 in, Maximum Weight: 285 lbs. For youth (15 & under): Adult supervision from the course or ground is required. For ages 9 & under: We recommend the adult participate and supervise on the course.
Treetop Journey: (12:15 PM or 12:45 PM)
The perfect introduction to aerial adventure, taking you into a parallel world up in the trees. Live in the moment whilst navigating suspended bridges, obstacles and ziplines. Immerse yourself in nature for one hour and inspire a love for the outdoors. Minimum Age: None, Minimum Height: 3 ft 3 in, Maximum Weight: 285 lbs. For children (5 & under): A participating adult (18+) must supervise every two children. For youth (6-15): Adult supervision from the course or ground is required.
General Information:
Participants will meet at South Run Rec Center (7550 Reservation Drive, Springfield, VA 22153) on the day of the trip. Transportation to and from base is not included. Registration is required.
Cost:
Treetop Adventure & Gloves – $30 per person
Treetop Journey & Gloves: – $20 per person
Registration Information:
All patrons must register and pay at the Outdoor Recreation Bldg 1235 Menoher by March 21. ODR MUST secure a minimum number of participants two weeks before the trip date. Please register as soon as possible to ensure availability and minimum requirements are met. Eligibility: Active Duty (including Guard and Reserve), Retirees, DoD Civilians, eligible contractors, and all their Dependents. Each eligible ID Card holder can sponsor a non-ID card holder, so grab your friends and neighbors, and reserve your seats soon!
